The Ocala Police Department says an argument over cooking pots led to a fatal shooting Monday morning.  Police have identified a suspect and are looking for him.

Ocala police said the shooting happened about 8:30 a.m. at the Spring Manor Apartments, on the 2800 block of Northeast Seventh Street.

Police were called to the scene after neighbors reported hearing gunfire. When officers arrived, they found Antonio Jones, 23, lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds.

Jones was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Late Monday night investigators said they obtained information that led them to identify 21-year-old Dayomonte Osteen McIntosh as the shooter.

A warrant for his arrest for one count of Second Degree Murder was issued.

Investigators said witnesses told them Jones and McIntosh got into an argument over cooking pots and McIntosh shot Jones and then fled.

Anyone with information on McIntosh's whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Marion County at 352-368-STOP (7867).
