In Orange County, a man was shot and killed just moments after stepping out of a local Amscot. Now detectives are trying to track down the killer.

The shooting happened around 6 p.m. Sunday at an Amscot, 5901 South John Young Parkway, near Oak Ridge Road.

Investigators said a 30-year-old man went inside the Amscot and made some sort of transaction. Then when he stepped outside, someone started firing shots at him.

According to witnesses, the man who fired those shots watched the victim park his car and go inside the business. After being shot, the victim tried to run back inside the Amscot. He died shortly after being transported Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Witnesses said the shooter is in his 20s and was wearing a red hoodie and brown pants. They said he ran off and was last seen heading east on Oak Ridge Road.
