After a chilly start with most of our lows in the 40s, a cooler day than Thursday is setting up for today. A breezy north wind will continue to keep us sunny and dry, although temperatures will only top in the mid to low 60s this afternoon. These numbers are running a good ten degrees below our norm. Along the Brevard coast, a few clouds offshore will move inland throughout the day.

Saturday will be a bit warmer with highs like yesterday, in the upper 60s to low 70s, however the wind will relax under a sun filled sky for most. The wind will begin to shift and have a more east component by Sunday night into Monday as the high pressure centered to our north, moves east. As a result, temperatures will begin to modify and rise closer to our seasonal average of 76 Sunday.
Warmer temperatures are expected next week with highs rising to near 80 through the week and lows near 60. A few showers are possible Tuesday, mainly along the east shore.
We are in the final days of Atlantic Hurricane Season and much of the Atlantic basin is quiet. No tropical development is expected between now and Nov. 30.
