The Seminole County man charged in his mother's murder is now back in Central Florida after he was arrested in Maryland.
20-year-old Joshua Ortiz is facing second degree murder charges, in connection with the murder of his mother Jacqueline Ortiz.
The 45-year-old's body was found October 19 in the family's home near Oviedo, and then her son disappeared.
Joshua Ortiz was arrested outside of Baltimore two days later, driving his mom's car.
He was extradited back to Seminole County and booked into jail shortly after 9:30 Saturday night.
He's being held on bond, and is expected to appear before a judge Monday afternoon.
