The Volusia County Sheriff's Office needs help finding the suspects in two home invasions.

The first incident happened around 2 a.m. Wednesday on Summerfield Street. A 25-year-old woman said she and her two children, ages 1 and 5, were asleep in the master bedroom when she heard a loud noise and voices.

She quickly locked the bedroom door, but one of the suspects forced it open and pointed a gun at the victim's head.

She said the suspects, described as men in their 20s wearing dark-colored clothing, then bolted out the house.

Upon leaving, the victim told deputies she noticed her front door had been kicked in and items were stolen.

Approximately 17 minutes later, a 41-year-old woman on Gage Avenue heard a loud noise and discovered her front door had been kicked in. She also spotted a vehicle quickly backing out of her driveway.

Investigators do not believe anything was taken in the second robbery.

It is not known if the second suspect was also armed.

No one was injured in either incident and investigators believe both were committed by the same suspects.
