Detectives with the Orlando Police Department have made an arrest in the case where a teenager attempted to take off a 10-year-old boy's pants inside the community pool bathroom at an Orange County apartment complex, police said.
The suspect's name is not being released because he's a juvenile, per News 13's Crime Guidelines.
The suspect was identified from a tip that came into the police department. After questioning, detectives learned the teenager lives near where the crime occurred.
The incident happened Oct. 9, at the NorthBridge at Millenia Lake Apartments, 4902 Millenia Blvd.
The teenager lured the boy into a bathroom. The boy then screamed when the suspect tried to take his belt off. The suspect unlocked the bathroom door, and the boy got away, police said.
He was charged with false imprisonment and attempted lewd molestation.
Detectives continue to search for a suspect responsible for kissing a 12-year-old boy inside a Super Target at 4750 Millenia Plaza Way.
