Two suspects have been arrested after a man was stabbed to death early Saturday morning during a fight at an Orange County apartment complex, police said.

The incident happened around 2:55 a.m. at the Winter Garden Village Apartments, located at 521 S. Park Ave., just off West Story Road.

Officers arrived just before 3 a.m. and discovered a victim who was "bleeding severely," police said.

The victim, later identified as 19-year-old Walter Martinez, had been stabbed multiple times. He was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he died just after 5 a.m.

Around 3 a.m., the Winter Garden Police Department received another call from a woman stating her husband was beat up and was bleeding from the head and face. When police arrived, they determined that man was the suspect in the stabbing. He was taken to Health Central for treatment for injuries to his head and face.

Police have since arrested Jose Uriel Marquez Vizuet, 22, on a first-degree murder charge. Gerald Samir Miranda Garmendia, 18, was also arrested and charged with principle first-degree murder for providing the weapon used to stab Martinez.

Both Vizuet and Garmendia admitted to their involvement in the incident during interviews with investigators, police said.

They were taken to the Orange County Jail. Vizuet and Garmendia are expected to go before a judge for first appearance Sunday morning.
