Television personality Cristy Lee redefines the "biker chick."

Lee's best known as one of the three hosts of "All Girls Garage" (new episodes Fridays at 8 p.m.) on the Discovery Channel’s Velocity Network. She's serving as spokesperson for the second annual American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) this Saturday and Sunday at the Orange County Convention Center.

On air, Lee proves her mechanical-smarts and automotive and motorsports knowledge through "how-to" style programming. Her enthusiasm for two wheels also carries onto the track. She's an avid amateur road racer.

As a native of Daytona Beach, home of two of motorcycling’s most renowned gatherings in Bike Week and Biktoberfest (which is also going on now through Sunday), Lee's opportunity to be a part of AIMExpo is an anticipated homecoming for the current “Motor City” resident from Detroit.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be a part of AIMExpo and I cannot wait to return to my home state of Florida and share in this ultimate celebration of the motorcycle industry,” she said.

We met up with her Thursday, 2 days before the AIMExpo opens to the public.

"[With] over 450 exhibitors this year," she told us," it's a huge jump from last year. There's a ton of really cool stuff - vendors, manufacturers debuting new parts, apparel, accessories, new bikes."

Lee says it's a super interactive experience.

"If [fans] kinda want to up their game to the next level, they can also go out for a demo ride," she added. "Outside of the convention center, there's a chance to take a street ride or a dirt ride, so it's a pretty good opportunity for some fans to really push it to the next level."

And she, too, will be participating in meet n' greets.

"[Fans] have the opportunity to go to the main stage and check out a Q&A with myself and World Champion Kevin Schwantz," she said.

So we had to know - since she was a Daytona Beach gal - if she could ride just one thing around her ol' streets, what would it be?

"Wow, I mean, that's a tough question," she smiled. "I've obviously ridden the streets of Daytona many, many a time. I'm really feeling the sport bike ride right now. So, probably a middle displacement 600 bike. Nothing specific. But something like that, just cruisin' around. Maybe if I was feeling a little more laid back, just grab a cruiser, relax, and take a slow ride through the back streets of Daytona Beach."

AIMExpo general admission tickets for a single day are $12 online and $15 at the box office.
