Deputies with the Volusia County Sheriff's Office are searching for a missing 56-year-old man who has been missing for more than two months.

Adolph Gray is considered a transient, but he has also stayed with family in the New Smyrna Beach area. He was arrested Aug. 1 for a misdemeanor offense and was released two days later from the Volusia County Branch Jail in Daytona Beach.

Gray's family hasn't seen or heard from him since, which they said is unusual because he normally makes contact with them at least a couple of times a month.

Gray's family is concerned because they said the man has been battling depression due to personal issues, deputies said.

Gray is 5-feet, 8-inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who sees Gray or has any information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Volusia County Sheriff's Office at 386-736-5999.
