It's like a scene out of the movie "Gone in 60 Seconds." Right now Orange County deputies are looking for a group of thieves who stole a race car.

Damian Borroto arrived in Orlando Friday for a car race at Orlando SpeedWorld. But sometime overnight three suspects stole his race car and trailer containing thousands of dollars worth of equipment.

"It's half rage, half anger, half concern and half determination to get it back," Borroto said.

The gray Honda civic has raced around the country for the past 10 years in various events.

"It's a 32-foot black trailer. It's not something you can hide in the bushes. It's huge," said Borroto.

Authorities said there were over $100,000 dollars worth of tools, equipment and laptops stolen.

"The contents of the trailer, I mean if I were to sit down and write it all down I'd probably start to cry," Borroto said. "So i don't want to think about it. "

Borroto was staying at the Radisson near North Alafaya Trail and State Road 50.

When he woke up Saturday morning and the only thing parked outside was his pickup truck. The trailer and car were gone. Investigators think it taken between 4 and 5:30 Saturday morning.

Deputies said three suspects stole a UHaul from across the street. They then hooked up the trailer to the UHaul and took off.

"They may have staked them out but [investigators] definitely believe they were after him and that he was targeted," Orange Co. Sheriff's Office spokesperson Jane Watrel said. "They wanted that race car with the tools and the trailer."

The owner says he is offering a $35,000 reward for his car and trailer back.
