A group of fishermen didn't have to reel in a blue marlin off the Dominican coast because the fish jumped right on board their boat.

The crew had hooked the 350-pound fish and was struggling to reel it in when the fish jumped on deck, barely missing a fisherman with its spear-like snout.

The Florida-based fishermen said they had been planning to release the fish back into the water but couldn't since it died of "self-sustained" injuries. They gave the fish to a local fisherman.
