As a jury of six women decide George Zimmerman's fate, here's how long it took jurors in five other, high-profile cases to reach their verdicts:

1. O.J. Simpson

It took a California jury less than 4 hours in 1995 to find former NFL star O.J. Simpson not guilty on two counts of murder for the deaths of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman.

The jury reached a verdict 11 months and one day after being sworn in.

2. Casey Anthony

Jurors in Pinellas County deliberated for 10 hours and 40 minutes over two days in 2011 before finding Casey Anthony not guilty of first-degree murder for the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, in June 2008.

The jury opted to come into court on the Fourth of July to receive their instructions and start deliberating.

3. Drew Peterson

An Illinois jury spent 14 hours deliberating before finding former Chicago-area police sergeant Drew Peterson guilty in 2012 of murdering his ex-wife, Kathleen Savio, in 2004.

4. Jodi Arias

It took a jury in Phoenix nearly 15 hours to find Jodi Arias guilty of first-degree murder in May 2013 for killing her ex-boyfriend, Travis Alexander, in June 2008.

5. Scott Peterson

Jurors deliberated for 7 days before finding Scott Peterson guilty in 2004 of murdering his wife, Laci Peterson, and their unborn son. Laci Peterson was about eight months pregnant when she was last seen alive in 2002.
