A Lake County woman is out of jail after deputies said she admitted to pawning her mother-in-law’s television for cash.

Deputies said Anne Adams’ mother-in-law called them Monday after returning home to find her $800 42-inch flat screen television missing along with her truck.

She told deputies Adams returned home three hours later with the truck and immediately went into her bedroom.

While a deputy was speaking with the victim, Adams fled the scene.  She was located hiding in a bath tub at a home on the 24000 block of Bass Road.

Deputies said Adams admitted to pawning the television for $130 in Pierson because she needed things for her and her husband.

Adams was booked into the Lake County Jail for grand theft. She was released two hours later after posting $2,000 bond.

Her next court appearance is scheduled for July 22.
