A hearing that was scheduled for Friday ahead of the George Zimmerman trial has been cancelled after lawyers representing several other media outlets said they would not photograph members of the jury outside of court.

At a hearing Tuesday, Judge Debra Nelson ruled that jurors may not be photographed or identified while the Zimmerman trial was in session, but media attorney Scott Ponce asked about the possibility of photographing jurors outside the Seminole County Courthouse.

Nelson, who decided she would not sequester the jury during the Zimmerman trial, set a hearing for Friday, May 31, to listen the media companies' arguments.

But on Thursday, the media groups told the judge they would not object to an order blocking them from photographing jurors outside of court, and felt Friday's hearing was no longer necessary.

"Our clients do not object to the entry of an order that applies the correct standard and is limited in time and scope," Ponce said in a letter to the judge, dated Thursday.

The next hearing before jury selection begins on June 10 is scheduled for Thursday, June 6, at 9 a.m.
