A pre-trial hearing is being held today in Osceola County for a teen charged with committing murder at just 15 years old.

Konrad Schafer, 15; David Damus, 20; Victoria Rios, 17; and Juan Muriel, 20, are accused of taking part in the murder of 22-year-old Eric Roopnarine.

In September, prosecutors released hundreds of pages of police reports, police interviews and crime scene photos all outlining the plan prosecutors said the group came up with before killing Roopnarine inside his Poinciana home.

The court papers said Roopnarine had just gotten an insurance check for more than $10,000 after he was in a car accident.

Reports also said the victim was bragging about the money and even offered to pay Rios for sex.

The case report said Rios, Schafer and Damus went to Roopnarine's house on July 3 to rob him of his new insurance money. But according to the documents, Roopnarine only had $300 cash.

Roopnarine was shot in the face and stabbed several times in his neck. A butcher knife was left on top of his body and Roopnarine's mother discovered her dead son hours later.

The report also stated the accused killers wore gloves and investigators actually found them at one of the suspect's apartments. Police said there is some confusion as to who actually stabbed Roopnarine.

Schafer and Damus are also accused of shooting and killing David Guerrero, 17, on June 26 as he was walking to a bus stop in Kissimmee just one week before Roopnarine's murder.
