Central Floridians can expect more strong storms and heavy rain today even as many are still cleaning up damage from yesterday’s showers.

Scattered showers and storms will return Wednesday afternoon. Weaker steering winds allow both sea breeze boundaries to push inland.

Strongest storms will occur with boundary collisions late in the day. High temperatures will reach the upper 80s to lower 90s.

Parts of Central Florida saw storm damage Tuesday as a line of strong stroms moved through the area. The southern end of Brevard County saw some of the most action.

On Wailae Circle in Palm Bay, a tree was uprooted by hugh winds that roared through late yesterday afternoon. We've also seen siding lying in a yard and branches down in other neighborhoods in the area.

Residents at the Malabar Lakes Apartments near I-95 and Palm Bay Road said the storm barrelled through. They said they weren't expecting this much damage.

“I was worried. The first thing I did was call my wife to make sure she was okay because I realized there had been so much damage by the winds that she could have been in danger also," said resident Josh Cox.

No one was hurt in the storms.
