Six witnesses are now being named in the case of George Zimmerman, who shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in February.

The names had previously been kept private, but were released to the public Wednesday. All of them spoke to investigators about the case.

Brandy Green, also known as witness number seven, is the girlfriend of Tracy Martin, Trayvon's father. Then, there's Cheryl Brown, witness number four; Mary Cutcher, witness number five; Selma Mora, witness number 16; and Cynthia Wibker, witness number 42.

Then there is witness number 14. Since that witness is under 18, we have chosen not to release his name. View our Crime Guidelines for more information.

Witness 14 is the son of one of the other witnesses. He told police a man in red was on the bottom during the struggle. Zimmerman was wearing a reddish-orange jacket the night Trayvon Martin was shot.

Zimmerman is being charged with second-degree murder and this information does not change that. It just paints a clearer picture of who said what and confirms all of these people live in the same gated community, the Retreat at Twin Lakes.

As for Martin's parents, Sybrina Fulton has said that she is mentally prepared for whatever Zimmerman's verdict is once this goes to trial.
