Teachers will get a holiday treat from Tijuana Flats next week.
The Orlando-based restaurant chain is launching its first Teacher Hero Day next Thursday. The company put up an event page on Facebook.
Teachers will be able to go to Tijuana Flats restaurants and get a free meal, no purchase necessary, all day. Tijuana Flats has 88 restaurants around the country.
CEO Brian Wheeler said he decided to create Teacher Hero Day in response to the Sandy Hook tragedy.
