A local teenager and his father are helping spread holiday cheer.

"It's a special holiday about giving and sharing in the spirit and it's just, I feel like everyone should have the joy and have the tree," said Anthony Trabulsy.

The Edgewater High School freshman and his father teamed up with the Camaraderie Foundation to give away 130 trees to military members and veterans.

Anyone with a military ID can show up and get a tree.

Tammy Knowles with the Camaraderie Foundation says the trees are available to veterans of all military branches. Knowles says what Trabulsy is doing for the families is simple amazing.

"To have somebody at his age to recognize that our service members need to be recognized, they need to have some additional support when they're coming home," Knowles said. "It's absolutely breathtaking."

"It feels great," Knowles said.  "It feels like you're doing the right thing.  Just to feel the joy and not even take credit for it. Just that joy you get inside.  It's a feeling that can't be matched."

The trees are being given away at 3001 Edgewater Dr in Orlando, again to anyone with a military ID.

The trees will be given out they are out of them.
