A trial judge in the Case Against Casey says there will be no limit in the potential damages that Zenaida Gonzalez could seek against Casey in a defamation trial slated to start next year.

According to Orange County Clerk of Courts, the motion to strike the plaintiff's punitive damages claim was denied. Casey Anthony's attorney wanted to limit the amount of damages that could be ordered to pay to Gonzalez.

Gonzalez claims her life was ruined, after Anthony said a nanny with the same name had kidnapped her then- 2 year old daughter, Caylee, in 2008.

Detectives later discovered the nanny didn't exist, and Caylee was dead.

The case is set for trial early next year.
