We are waiting to learn whether a judge will move the civil defamation trial against Casey Anthony out of Orange County.

Lawyers for her and Zenaida Gonzalez went in front of a judge today at the Orange County Courthouse.

Attorneys for Casey said they can't get a fair trial in the county because of all the attention this case has received.

The hearing only lasted about 20 minutes Tuesday.

They said it's only fair to have the trial moved and they would like it to happen somewhere north of Orlando.

Zenaida Gonzalez is suing Casey.

Gonzalez said her life was turned upside down when Casey lied to authorities about made-up nanny with the same name as Gonzalez who kidnapped her 2-year-old daughter Caylee in 2008.

Casey was acquitted on all charges related to the murder of her daughter back in July 2011.

Lawyers for Gonzalez said they don't care where the trial takes place as long as the defense pays for it. They don't believe the taxpayers should foot the bill to have it moved.

"It's the epitome of unfairness and it is the epitome of undeserved special treatment for her to take a case, which if you recall, she had no interest in even showing up at,” said Gonzalez’s attorney Keith Mitnik. “We have had to jump through major hurdles to have her be forced to actually even come to the trial.”

Casey’s attorney, Charles Greene, said media scrutiny continued after the criminal trial.

"We had hoped the publicity of this case would subside after the criminal trial. It has not. It has continued to be unprecedented, media scrutiny has continued. Ms. Anthony has continued to be under a glare, particularly in Orange County," Greene said.

This trial is set to begin in January.
