Another South Florida high school is grabbing headlines after a Miami-Dade school security guard was caught on camera pretending to shoot students.

An investigation is now underway after the 6 second Snapchat video went viral.

Students at Ronald Reagan Senior High School in Doral say what their security guard is seen doing is appalling.

"I have fear now going to school and I don't want that," student Sophia Urena said.

In the video the security guard is standing on the roof pretending to point a gun at nearby students.

Parents are outraged, saying to see the video just days after the deadly mass shooting in Parkland is disturbing.

"The security is supposed to be here to protect and made kids feel safe. They are acting like they have guns shooting down at them, I mean, that's not something anybody will feel safe about. They are concerned," said a concerned parent.

Officials with Miami-Dade County Schools released a statement saying: "The employee has been removed from school and will not be returning pending an outcome of the investigation, because the employee's actions demonstrated a serious lack of judgment, the outcome of the investigation could result in disciplinary action, up to, and including dismissal."

Student Urena said, "He wasn't a bad security guard, but I don't know what made him want to do that."

As the school system continues to investigate, both parents and students are hoping incidents like this will be taken more seriously.

"Not the way kids are supposed to feel at school, they are supposed to be here to learn and feel safe and it's just, it's not happening anymore," said an unidentified parent.

"It makes the rest of us fear about our school and we just want to go to school and learn to be safe," Urena added.
