Here's your new Tampa area weather forecast for late Friday on through the weekend, with a look at conditions through midweek next week.

Skies will go from mostly clear to partly cloudy into early Saturday morning. It won’t be nearly as cold as the past couple of nights, but it will still be chilly by Florida standards.

Lows will be in the 40s from the Bay south, and 30s for northern counties. It will be just cold enough for patchy frost in some locations of Citrus and Hernando counties. 

Saturday will feature increasing clouds, but still milder highs, getting back up around 70 in the afternoon. There might be a few sprinkles that pass with some of the clouds, but overall we expect a dry day.

Saturday night will be partly cloudy and cool, with lows in the 50s and 40s.

Sunday will wrap up the weekend on a nice note, with partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid 70s.

Next week will feature milder temperatures, but it will also feature more clouds and a couple rain chances.

There will be a cold front that approaches Wednesday, but it will not be nearly as strong as the past couple of fronts.

The seven-day forecast
