Here's your Tampa area weather forecast for late Thursday into Friday morning, along with a look at conditions throughout the weekend.

The cold air stuck around all day, with most places struggling to get past the upper 40s to low 50s.

Another cold morning is on tap. Although spots near the coast will not be as cold, there will still be many areas away from the coast that have a freeze.

The other thing to keep in mind is that there will be a lot more frost, due to the winds going calm and slightly higher dew points.

Lows will range from the low to mid 20s in Citrus to Hernando counties, to the upper 20s in Pasco County, to near 30 in Polk County, low to mid 30s in Manatee and Pinellas counties, and upper 20s to mid 30s in Hillsborough County.

Friday will feature mostly sunny skies, which will allow our temperatures to finally start moderating. The afternoon highs will get back into the low 60s.

Although that is still below average, it will feel comfortable compared to the past couple days.

Friday night will be chilly, but not nearly as cold as the past couple of nights, with lows in the 30s and 40s.

Saturday will start a more impressive warmup, with highs back around 70 that afternoon. Skies will go partly cloudy.

Saturday night will be partly cloudy to mostly clear, with lows in the 40s to low 50s.

Sunday will be partly cloudy with a small chance of a passing shower. Highs will be warmer, getting back to the mid 70s.
