The Disaster Volunteer Reception Center at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex will close at 4 p.m., Saturday, stated the Board of County Commissioners.
People who want to volunteer their services with disaster recovery can register with Volunteer Polk’s Virtual Volunteer Reception Center, call 1-863-370-9383 or email VolunteerPolk@polk-county.net.
"Residents who are uninsured or underinsured and are need of assistance with regards to damages to their personal property may call Crisis Cleanup at 1-800-451-1954 or (844) 965-1386 and add their name to a list for assistance," the commissioners stated in a press release.
