Tropical Storm Don has formed in the Atlantic.

Don was east of the Windward Islands on Monday afternoon. It's not expected to be any threat to Florida.

As of 5 p.m. ET, Don was about 485 miles east-southeast of Barbados, moving west at 17 mph. Maximum sustained winds were 40 mph. The center of rotation looked a little more impressive when the Air Force Reserve reconnaissance aircraft investigated the system earlier this evening.

The spaghetti model plots are in agreement that Don will pose no threat to the State of FL; however, it will continue to track westward towards Central America.

Don should move through the Windward Islands late Tuesday and Tuesday night.

Tropical storm warnings have been issued for Grenada, and watches are up for Barbados, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and St. Lucia.

Remember that the spaghetti model plot does not indicate the strength of a system or even development at all. It only predicts where this broad area of low pressure is expected to go.
