Deputies in Manatee County have arrested one suspect in connection to a fatal shooting in Lakewood Ranch.
Jose Hernandez, 19, was charged with armed robbery and murder. A second suspect remains at large.
Hernandez and the other suspect are accused of shooting and killing Alexander Cherp on Feb. 4.
Investigators believe Cherp was shot sometime between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
He was found outside his vehicle shortly after midnight by a security guard in the parking lot of Greenbrook Park.
Cherp was taken to a hospital, where he died.
