A CSX train collided with a semitruck late Tuesday in Lakeland, closing an intersection for several hours.

There were no injuries and the crash did not cause a haz mat situation. 

According to Lakeland police, the semi was crossing the tracks on north Ingraham Avenue near east Oak Street at 11:30 p.m. when the trailer became detached from the semi cab. 

The trailer remained on the tracks and did not derail. The crash spilled the trailer's load of chicken and beef all over the tracks and area.

According to officials, Lakeland police were notified but CSX officials could not reached in time to get the trailer off the tracks. 

A train came through and collided with the trailer, splitting it in half. 

The railroad tracks were cleaned by 5 a.m. and the train was moving again a short time later. Ingraham Avenue was reopened between Oak and Oleander Street just after 7 a.m.
