The Hernando County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a woman Wednesday morning.

Deputies were called out to 15013 Old Stage Coach Rd. in Brooksville around 4:15 a.m. regarding a possible death. 

Once on scene, deputies located a deceased female and they stated the death appears to be suspicious in nature. 

All parties involved in the incident have been identified and accounted for, deputies said, and there is no danger to the community. 

The death remains under investigation.
