Two St. Petersburg men are heading to the presidential inauguration.

John Tatum and Cliff Gephart are Trump superfans.

"I got on the Trump train very early because he said some things I really, really liked to hear,” Gephart said.

The guys went to just about every Trump rally across Florida, and now they’re riding the 'Trump train' to Washington D.C.

"As soon as he won," started Gephart, "the results were announced at about 3:30 a.m. At about 4 o’clock in the morning I went on Expedia, booked my hotel, called up John and said 'Hey, we are going to the inauguration.'”

"It’s going to be the experience of a lifetime,” agreed Tatum.

Tatum has Trump pins, bumper stickers and hats for sale at his bait shop on 34th Street South in St. Petersburg. He and Gephart also got Trump to sign $100 bills at a rally in Sarasota last year.

Gephart said the only thing that’s worth more than the bills to him is seeing Trump take the oath with his own eyes.

"The moment he puts his hand on that Bible and that’s done, it’s going to be a new day for America.” Gephart said.
