A Tampa resident is certainly feeling lucky after claiming the $2 million Florida Lottery Lucky Money jackpot from a drawing late last year.

According to Florida Lottery officials, Eliel Cabrera won the jackpot from the drawing on Dec. 27, 2016. Cabrera purchased his winning Quick Pick ticket from Gilray Mobil, located at 6017 W. Linebaugh Ave. in Tampa.
Officials said Cabrera chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump sum payment. His winnings totaled to $1,446,840.
The next Lucky Money drawing will be at 11:15 p.m. Jan. 27. The jackpot is worth $700,000.
