Trump came back to New York Wednesday night after attending two fundraising dinners in Washington.

One of the dinners was held for his cabinet picks at the Library of Congress.

Trump tweeted photos from the other event, which honored Vice President-elect Mike Pence.

According to the New York Times, Trump spoke for about a half hour at the Pence dinner.

The paper says he talked about creating a "merit-based" immigration system, and the ethics of so-called Super PACs, which can raise unlimited amounts of money for political candidates.

Trump also tweeted this photo of himself with the note, "Writing my inaugural address at the Winter White House, Mar-a-Lago, three weeks ago."

He appeared to be writing with a Sharpie and must have still been working on the first page.

The President-elect will follow tradition tonight and stay at Blair House, which is the president's guest house.

Trump will be sworn in at noon Friday.
