The Tampa Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on Saturday, January 14. 

  • Tampa police investigate homicide of William "Bill" Denham
  • Witnesses saw three suspects punching the victim in the middle of a street
  • Police are searching for two men and a woman connected to the homicide

Detectives said witnesses saw two men and a woman punching a man in the middle of a Tampa intersection around 10:20 p.m. 

William "Bill" Denham, 53, was found deceased in the intersection of North 15th Street and Elm Street East as a result from a severe beating. 

Detectives said the three suspects left Bill unconscious on the side of the road before walking south on North 15th Street toward Sligh Avenue East.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identity and arrest of the suspects. 

One suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, in his 20s, between 5'8 and 5'9, with a stocky/heavy build. The suspect has brown hair with scruffy facial hair and was wearing a black short sleeve shirt. 

The second suspect is also described as a white or Hispanic male.

The third suspect is described as a white or Hispanic female, with long black hair and was wearing a black shirt.
