Hillsborough County deputies are investigating after a homeowner found “Black Lives Matter” spray painted all over her trailer.

  • Mango resident believes she was targeted because of Trump signs
  • Her trailer was vandalized, tagged with 'BLM'
  • Deputies say similar graffiti was found about 10 minutes away

Stacy Hatfield believes the vandals chose her home because of the homemade Donald Trump signs that adorn her front yard.

“I like him, he’s my man,” said Hatfield.

It happened in the 200 block of Sycamore Lane near Mango. Hatfield and her boyfriend woke up to also find the letters “BLM” spray painted over her political signs in her front yard.

Hatfield said everyone should be able to show support for their presidential candidate without backlash.

“I wish they’d come to my face and come and ask me," said Hatfield. "You got a problem with Trump, tell me about it. Write it down in a letter, I don’t care."

Hatfield has some choice words for the vandals.

“Come forward and stop doing it before you get shot. Because if someone catches you, you ain’t going to be able to get away. You’ll be getting a body bag,” Hatfield said.

Deputies are aware of a similar graffiti incident about 10 minutes away from Hatfield’s home, but are unsure if they are connected.
