Orlando area

Pirates of the Saint Juans Festival

This event includes a pirate parade, music, entertainment and costume contests today and Saturday at 401 S. Sanford Ave., Sanford. Festivities start at 7 tonight, and the parade is Saturday at 8 p.m. with activities until midnight.

New Smyrna Beach Jazz Fest

The 16th Annual New Smyrna Beach Jazz Festival begins tonight at the OM Bar & Chill Lounge at 5:30 p.m. and continues Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Flagler Avenue and Canal Street, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Third Avenue and the North Causeway. The event is free.

Colony Plaza Craft Festival

The seventh annual festival Saturday and Sunday features U.S.-made arts and crafts, personalized wall hangings, art for your pets, ceramics and more. A green market will offer plants, exotic flora and homemade soaps. The free is event is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days at 327 Colony Boulevard, The Villages.

Tampa area

Tampa Bay Boat Show

This event at the Florida State Fairgrounds runs all weekend and features the area's top boat manufacturers and dealers, as well as top fishing guides and experts offering tips and stories of their adventures at sea. The event is free; however, parking at the fairgrounds for the event is $6. 4802 U.S. 301 N, Tampa.

Central Avenue Solstice Street Festival

Running along the entire length of Central Avenue in downtown St. Pete, attendees can enjoy local arts and crafts, food, antiques and group events. The festivities start with yoga at South Straub Park at sunrise and end with a movie in Sunset Park at Dusk. For more information, visit centralavenuesolstice.com. Sunday Bicycle Ride
