Learning how Facebook labels you is pretty interesting, especially when you realize the network is right.

All you have to do is go to Facebook.com/ads/preferences. Under the interests header, click on the Lifestyle and Culture tab. Then,  look for a box called U.S. politics and in parenthesis you’ll see how Facebook has categorized you.

How does Facebook determine your political inklings? Everything is based on your activity on the site. The Facebook algorithm takes into consideration the pages that you like. If your political preference is included on your profile page, that's a major factor, too.  

So yes, Facebook is continuing to collect information on you. Now they’re just making it easier for you to see what’s being collected.
