The Seminole County Sheriff's Office said a homeowner shot a man who tried to enter a pickup truck outside his home.

Deputies responded at about 11:15 p.m. Saturday to Van Arsdale Street in Oviedo.
The homeowner told investigators he was getting ready for bed when he heard someone at the backdoor of the home.
He went outside and discovered the man trying to enter his vehicle, according to authorities.
The homeowner shot the man three times. The man was taken to a local hospital. His condition wasn't released.
The homeowner wasn't injured and is not facing charges at this time, the sheriff's office said.
The case is still under investigation.
