About 26,000 video baby monitors are being recalled because of a burn hazard, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The recall involves Lorex Care 'N' Share video baby monitors.

The video monitor's batteries can overheat, swell and expand and cause the battery cover to open or come off. This can expose hot batteries, posing a burn hazard to consumers.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled monitors and contact Lorex to receive a full refund.

The model numbers included in this recall are WL3520, WL4320 and WL3401. The model numbers are printed on the back panel of the monitor.

The company has received nearly 500 reports of batteries overheating and expanding. No injuries have been reported.
