A driver apparently headed home to Palm Bay crashed a sport utility vehicle into a house in Brevard County's Viera community early Sunday.
According to Brevard County Fire Rescue, the driver was headed northeast on Indigo Crossing Drive around 4:45 a.m. and crashed into a home on the 5800 block.
The driver, whose identity hasn't been released, had to be freed from the vehicle and was taken to Holmes Medical Center in serious condition. No one was in the home at the time of the crash.
A wrecker was called to remove the vehicle. No other information has been released.
