A Davenport grandmother put her house on the market, and the photos she used to show it off are causing quite a stir.

Yolie Ball, 85, took a photo of every room in her house. The only thing is, she's in every photo: posing in a chair in the living room with a magazine, leaning against the kitchen counter; poking her head out of her bedroom, having an iced tea on her lanai.

Ball says it all started with an idea from one of her daughters.

"She said, 'Okay Mom, I think I’m gonna take pictures of the house,' " Ball said. "I said, OK, go ahead.' "

Ball said it started out as a joke, but it quickly turned into an Internet sensation when her teenage granddaughter posted the photos on her Twitter page.

"She says, 'I put them on my Twitter. Do you know what Twitter is?' " Ball said. "And I said, 'Yes.' "

And boy did Twitter respond.

"They’re reading me the remarks on the Twitter," Ball said. "The people said, 'Oh does the grandma come with the house? She’s so cute!' "

People found her so cute that she made national news Friday, but even more importantly, she's closer to selling her Davenport home, which she shares with her husband.

Ball said the home has been on the market for months, but judging by the flood of phone calls, it won't stay there for long.

"Hopefully after all this time the house will sell," she said. "Not because we want to but because it’s come to a stage in our life that our daughter is quite adamant that we be close to her."
