The Land O’ Lakes Recreation Complex will host a Black Friday Lock-In event so that deal-crazed parents can focus 100 percent on their shopping.
For $20, recreation complex staff will watch children from 8 p.m. Thursday evening to 11 a.m. Friday morning during up Thanksgiving weekend. A late-night snack and a light breakfast will be provided.
Children must be between the ages of 7 to 11 years old and comfortable in a large group setting. There will be one adult per 20 children.
Activities will include an Olympic-style competition, board games and arts and crafts. Space is limited. All participants must register by Friday to guarantee a spot.
