Florida is still struggling to deal with foreclosures.

The research firm RealtyTrac said Florida still leads the nation with highest foreclosure rate in 2014.

The firm released figures last week that shows Florida had a 2.3 percent foreclosure rate last year.

Four cities in Florida ranked in the top five in the country, including Miami, Orlando, Florida's Space Coast and Tampa. Atlantic City in New Jersey topped the list.

Florida was followed in the rankings by New Jersey, Maryland, Illinois and Nevada.

The report also found that the number of properties repossessed in foreclosure nationwide is at an eight-year low.
