All four suspects from Thursday's robbery and ensuing chase in the Haines City area are now in custody.

During a Friday morning news conference, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd announced the two remaining suspects from an Auburndale robbery and Haines City chase were apprehended Friday morning. Two other suspects were caught Thursday.

Judd also released the identities of two women whose bodies were found in a Haines City home during the suspect search Thursday. Judd identified the bodies as a mother and daughter: Patricia Moran, 72, and her daughter, Deborah Royal, of 618 Astor Drive in Haines City.

The suspects have been identified as Devonere "Devon" McCune, 22, of Haines City; Michael Gordon, 34, of Lakeland; Jovan Lamb, 29, of Haines City; and Terrell Williams, 29, of Haines City.

Judd: Robbery 'designed to create maximum terrorism'

Judd said the suspects have been arrested in connection with the robbery in Auburndale, which occurred at a Cash America Pawn on Havendale Boulevard around 5:45 p.m. Thursday.

"We know the robbery was well thought out and well designed," Judd said, saying the men were armed with assault rifles. "It was designed to create the maximum terrorism of the people in the store. It was created to obtain not only their cooperation but take away any chance that they may fight back."

Police determined the four men fled east on U.S. 17-92 in a burgundy GMC Jimmy. A Haines City police officer spotted the vehicle and began a pursuit.

"This is how dangerous and what kind of folks we are dealing with," Judd said. "They had assault rifles entering the store. Later they shot at and tried to kill Haines City police officers."

Police officers said the men shot at the patrol vehicle and shot out their own back window in the process. Other officers joined in the pursuit before the suspects' vehicle crashed in the Chanler Ridge community, west of U.S. 27 and north of U.S. 17-92 in Haines City.

Officials said the four suspects ran, but one suspect, McCune, was caught by a sheriff's K-9 and immediately taken into custody.

911 call leads to gruesome discovery

Shortly after, law enforcement received information from a resident that a house, the Astor Drive home, had suspicious activity.

Deputies and officers surrounded the house.

A blue car burst out of the garage traveling straight at the deputies and officers. Law enforcement started shooting at the car before it went airborne and crashed.

The suspect driving the SUV, later identified as Gordon, was shot and bitten by a K-9 before being taken into custody. His injuries are non-life threatening.

Deputies then discovered the women murdered inside the home. Investigators are still working a crime scene at the Astor Drive home.

Judd did not give details on how the women were killed, only saying they were "viciously murdered."

“Initial indications these were just a mom and her daughter who lived together in this house," Judd said. "Doing what we all do, going through their evening rituals, normal procedures of being home where they should’ve been safe."

Judd said they have no details how the suspects entered the home or how many got in.

Tim Wiser couldn't get home fast enough to check on his own family who lived nearby.

“With my wife and daughter being here it was scary. It really was. I wanted to get home in the worst way,” he said, “and then when I found out who it was, I’ve known them since I’ve lived here.”

Judd on last two suspects: all the fight was gone

Lamb was caught Friday morning near Kentucky Street in Haines City after knocking on a door and asking to use the phone.

The homeowner, Alice Ross, called police, who responded immediately and captured Lamb.

"Sheriff Judd had just said everybody keep your doors locked and mine was locked and if anybody knocks call 911 and I did what I was told," Ross said.

Officials said Lamb was wet when they caught him, and he said he explained that he was riding four-wheelers in the woods all night with his cousin.

A short while later, officials said Williams was taken into custody. He was reportedly hiding beneath a tarp in Ross' backyard shed.

“They had spent the entire night out, they were wet, they were cold, they laid out in a shed in the trees, in the woods, in the rain and all the fight was gone out of them," Judd said.

McCune is facing two counts of armed robbery, one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, three counts of attempted murder on a law enforcement officer, one count of fleeing to elude and one count of grand theft.

Gordon is facing two counts of first-degree murder, one count of armed burglary of a dwelling, two counts of armed robbery, one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, three counts of attempted murder on a law enforcement officer, two counts of fleeing to elude, one count of grand theft auto and one count of grand theft.

Lamb is facing two counts of armed robbery, one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, three counts of attempted murder on a law enforcement officer, one count of fleeing to elude, one count of grand theft and one count of violation of probation.

Williams is facing two counts of armed robbery, one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, three counts of attempted murder on a law enforcement officer, one count of fleeing to elude and one count of grand theft.

All of the suspects have lengthy criminal histories throughout Florida, including stints in Florida State Prison.

All four suspects will be booked into the Polk County Jail Friday afternoon.

Timeline of Polk County crime spree

The events of Thursday night and Friday morning were laid out by Judd in a press conference. Those events are as follows:

5:34 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to a report of a shooting at a home on West Derby. When they arrived, they found the house empty and no victim.

5:45 p.m. While deputies are responding to the report of the shooting, a robbery is reported at Cash America Pawn on Havendale Boulevard in Auburndale.  Four men fled the scene in a burgundy GMC Jimmy, and police began a pursuit.

5:59 p.m. Officials said the police officer was pursuing the suspect vehicle when the back window of the GMC Jimmy was broken out and the suspects fired shots. One officer reported that his car had been hit by gunfire, narrowly missing the K-9 officer that was with him.

At this point, officials say the suspects drove into the Chanler Ridge subdivision, and after trying to flee the area, they ditch the vehicle and run off.

6:00-6:07 p.m. Devonere McCune was apprehended by a K-9 unit and taken into custody. The other suspects flee in different directions.

6:07 p.m. Another resident calls 911 to report someone trying to break into a neighbor's house.
