Detectives are looking for a man they said attached a skimming device to an ATM at a Tampa bank.

The man was seen Wednesday between 6:29 p.m. and 6:33 p.m. at the Regions Bank, located at 6297 W. Waters Ave.

Detectives said they found evidence that indicated the man attached the skimming device to the ATM's card reader using green tape and a clear glue-like substance.

Surveillance video showed the suspect installing a small, thin square silver box to the front underside of the ATM, just above the keypad area. The skimmer device contained electronics and a camera to record customers' fingers as they entered their personal identification numbers on the keypad.

Deputies said the suspect was wearing an orange cap with a stocking mask over the face, a light-colored T-shirt, several beaded necklaces and light-colored latex gloves.  He was driving a newer model SUV that is either white or silver in color.

A passenger was in the SUV with the suspect at the time, deputies said.

Anyone with any information regarding the suspects is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 813-247-8200.
