A 29-year-old Clearwater man is charged with vehicular homicide after FHP troopers say he ran a red light and hit another car, killing the driver.
According to FHP, Jonathan Bytautas was driving a 2008 BMW on McMullen Booth Road when he ran a red light at Curlew Road on Dec. 12, hitting a 2005 Chevy pick-up truck.
The driver, 54-year-old Robert Raymer, Jr., of Holiday, died at the scene.
Bytautas suffered serious injuries and was charged following his release from St. Joseph’s Hospital.
