Two months ahead of the 2015 NFL Draft, Jameis Winston is in Tampa, Fla. meeting with Buccaneers ownership.

The ex-Florida State star quarterback arrived in Tampa on Monday, per reports. The meetings, which took place at One Buccaneer Place, are "Glazer-centric", ESPN reports, with Winston spending a lot of time with the Glazer family.

The focus is to see if the Glazer's are comfortable with investing the franchise's future in Winston, who has had a number of well-documented, off-the-field issues.

Winston nor club officials spoke to the media. However following the daylong visit, the team's website posted a video of the 21-year-old answering questions inside One Buc Place.

"I just want them to know I am human and I'm a great person, and this smile isn't fake," Winston said.

"I just want to show them I can be the face of this franchise one day," the quarterback added, "and actions speak louder than words."

The Buccaneers also issued a photo of Winston speaking with general manager Jason Licht.

The Buccaneers have the No. 1 pick in late April's draft. They're expected to pick between Winston and Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota, who will also visit with the team in the coming weeks.

Bucs head coach Lovie Smith said at last week's NFL Draft Combine that he'd be "comfortable" making Winston the face of the franchise.
