Eric Levy

Eric Levy, Anchor/Reporter

If you ask Eric how much he likes living in Central Florida, he'll tell you he doesn't like it. He loves it. From the day he arrived for the job interview, Eric fell in love with the area, and the love only gets stronger with each day.

Eric is the midday anchor for News 13 and comes to sunny Florida from Milwaukee, Wis., where he spent two years as an anchor and reporter.

Eric was born and raised in Connecticut, where he went to school and started as a radio news reporter on Sept. 11, 2001. That's right -- the terror attacks were the first story he ever covered.

He was immediately sent to a train station in New Haven, Conn., and interviewed people who were running away from the crumbling World Trade Center towers. From that day, Eric knew this was his career.

He's worked at radio and TV stations in Connecticut, Iowa, Texas, Florida, Virginia, Indiana, Wisconsin and now back in Florida.

Eric's family moved from Connecticut to Sarasota about 12 years ago, so being back in Florida is a chance to be closer to them. Eric lives in Orlando and hopes to make this home.
