Caitlyn Jones, Web Anchor

Caitlyn labels herself a "Tennessee Girl in a Florida world." She moved to the Sunshine State in 2015 after living her entire life in the Volunteer State.

Before coming to News 13 as our Web Anchor, Caitlyn was a reporter and fill-in anchor at WDEF News 12 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  While in Chattanooga, she covered the mass shootings at two military centers that took the lives of four Marines and a sailor. She also won a Tennessee AP award for Best Political Coverage.

Caitlyn got her start in the news world in her hometown Jackson, Tenn., as the anchor of "Good Morning West Tennessee" and as a "one-man band" reporter. She got her bachelor's degree in Electronic Media Communications with a focus in Journalism from Middle Tennessee State University, one of the best colleges in the country for TV journalism.

In her spare time, Caitlyn loves singing, acting, yoga, anything that involves being outdoors, and spending time with her husband, Justin, and daughter, Annabelle. She and her family are thrilled to live in such a beautiful area and love being able to call Central Florida home.
