Thousands of young athletes announced their college choices Wednesday during National Signing Day — but not everyone was happy with their decisions.

Wide receiver Jacob Copeland from Escambia High School in Pensacola sat next to his mother, who was decked out in Alabama and Tennessee gear.

But Copeland went for the University of Florida hat.

That's when his mother got up and stormed off.

The moment was nationally televised and quickly went viral online.

She returned later and gave her son a hug.
