The Robinson High School flag football team only gave up 56 points in 18 games this season.  But head coach Josh Saunders said he felt that if they scored at least twice in the FHSAA 1A title game, they'd win.

Team Captain McKenna Tyson took that literally; but, she did get off to a slow start. Tyson had a tough semifinal game against Godby High School, dropping two passes that would've ended the game in regulation. So, before the Final, the Junior Wide Receiver had a little advice for her teammates and herself.

Knights’ Senior quarterback Kayla Knowlton connected with Tyson for scores on Robinson’s first two possessions in the Final vs. Harmony High School, helping the team wrap up the 2016 season with an impressive 17-1 record and their second state championship in three years.
